Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards is expected to announce a statewide Shelter in Place order at his 2 p.m. press conference.
In the order, the Governor will force all non-essential businesses to shut down – in an effort to keep more people home to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The order WILL NOT pertain to grocery stores, convenience stories, pharmacies and other essential businesses.
Restaurants will also still be able to operate.
See an order of what to and not to do below.
We will update with additional details after the Governor leaves the podium.
