Boys' Basketball

South Lafourche 56, Morgan City 35

The Tarpons win a third-straight game to open up district play. Sophomore post B.J. Daniels scored 21 points for South Lafourche, which led by 1 at halftime, then dominated the entire second half to roll to the win. Senior guard Dayne Bordelon was also solid on both ends of the floor for the Tarpons, scoring 12 points, while also playing great defense.


Girls' Basketball

E.D. White 42, Lutcher 9

The E.D. White defense swarmed and smothered Lutcher on Tuesday, scoring a district victory. The Lady Cardinals got 16 points from Elizabeth Ayers in the victory, while Caroline Adams pitched in 9. 


South Lafourche 39, Morgan City 21

The Lady Tarpons stormed out to a big first-quarter lead, then coasted to a third-straight district victory over the home Lady Tigers. Junior Ava Pitre led all scorers with 15 points in the win, but freshman Ellie Lorraine added 13. The Lady Tarpons played their entire roster on Tuesday and got several younger, less experienced players valuable minutes. 


Boys' Soccer

E.D. White 0, Haynes Academy 0 (Tuesday)

The two powerhouse programs battle to a scoreless draw with neither team able to get an edge on the other over the duration of the match. 


E.D. White 2, Mandeville 0 (Monday)

The Cardinals did score a huge win on Monday over Mandeville with Kade Folse and Matt Gros each scoring a goal to lead the Cardinals to victory.


Thibodaux 5, East St. John 0

Doc Babin posted a hat trick for the Tigers as they pushed past their district foe from across the river.


Girls' Soccer

Thibodaux 7, Chapelle 0 

Five Lady Tigers contributed the team's 7 total goals in a comfortable win. 


E.D. White 4, Haynes Academy 0

The Lady Cardinals secure the District Championship with a clean-sheet shutout win over Haynes to keep momentum rolling heading towards the playoffs.
